Helen is the angel of the Rockaway Retreat House. She was my best friend that lived across the street. She was the quintisential animal whisper of the neighborhood. Helen helped me raise my beloved HoneyPup and take care of me and the house whatever we needed. She was born on May 25th so we chose that date to honor her beautiful life. She passed away on the leap day last year February 29, 2024. She is so loved and was so loving to so many people and animals… so if you knew her or want to come and share a story or two about Helen, please come.
