May 3, 2026 marks 13 years here at the Rockaway Retreat House. I am so thankful for this community. Lets celebrate together.

We are still here, still celebrating, still gathering, still planting flowers…

The annual garden party/opening party of the season will be on Sunday May 3rd this year.

The garden party is my favorite event of the year…it’s also my solar return time. I will make beautiful food and we will plant flowers in the garden and watch them grow throughghout the seasons.

This is a free event, but if you wanna bring something, bring flowers, bring seeds or bring something beautiful and colorful to help celebrate being alive!

Join us Sundays at 10:30 am for a half an hour meditation practice with Jaime. I will be sharing the lessons I am learning in real time as we navigate this world together. My background is in the Dali Lama linage of Tibetan Buddhism. All are welcome. This is by donation, suggested donation $20, give what you can.

House is for rent for Friday 4pm July 3rd- Sunday July 5th at 4pm.

Pup and I need to head to quite upstate zone with less fireworks.

Rockaway Beach for the July 4th is a big loud weekend for the neighborhood. There are lots of fireworks happening, so if you are looking for a quiet weekend this may not be it. There will be live music on the boardwalk. This is a fun weekend in Rockaway.

The house sleeps 10, there is a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, a bunk bedroom that has 6 xl twin beds, and another private bedroom that has a full size bed.

There is one cat, Timi, who lives here that sleeps in the bunkbed room so if you have cat sensitivities, you may not want to stay in there. She will need to be fed but she is so easy and lovely and a love bunny.

Self Love Retreat September 18th &19th

Join me Friday evening and Saturday morning & afternoon for this Self Love offering.

As some of you know I went through some major life changes in 2019 where I couldn’t hold it together anymore. My toxic job was killing me. I felt like I was dying. A good friend took me to a ceremony that was the catalyst for understanding myself and self love, which oddly I just couldn’t connect with before. Caring and loving others no problem, I was born to do that. But I was born to love myself too..Since that moment I have dedicated myself to myself. That which is a unique compassionate heart is mine and is for me. An endless supply. It can never be destroyed and is always there for me. I finally have my back. This retreat is based upon my own healing journey and the tools I learned along my journey. I will be offering tools and concepts and books that helped me though a storytelling format. Bring a notebook and wear comfy clothes. I will be offering two meals and a cacao ceremony. We will be writing, meditation, breathwork, listening to our hearts, garden time and eating of course.
