Relax. Lunch. Beach time/Free time/Garden time, then an afternoon yoga practice with Maria Followed by a delicious dinner, closing out the day around sunset time.

Rockaway Beach for the July 4th is a big loud weekend for the neighborhood. There are lots of fireworks happening, so if you are looking for a quiet weekend this may not be it. There will be live music on the boardwalk. This is a fun weekend in Rockaway.

The house sleeps 10-12, there is a master bedroom with a queen sized bed, a bunk bedroom that has 5 xl twin beds, and another private bedroom that has a full size bed. There is also a fold out couch queen-sized in the living room.

There is one cat, Timi, who lives here that sleeps in the bunkbed room so if you have cat sensitivities, you may not want to stay in there. She will need to be fed but she is so easy and lovely and a love bunny.

Join Chelsey for a day-trip to New York’s Playground on August 9. 9am-8:30pm

Chelsey is a lover + Katonah Yoga certified teacher and practitioner. Her classes are a playful cosmic charcuterie board of sound, breath, and movement recipes that reference ancient Yogic texts and soma.

You will be welcomed by Jaime Schultz, creator of the Rockaway Retreat House. She is an artist, chef and meditation teacher with a background in Tibetan Buddhism. She will be preparing all of the beautiful organic vegetarian nourishment throughout the retreat. The house is a comfortable beach house with a beautiful garden and lovely wrap around porch with hammocks, super chill.

Salt air and long light! Space to listen inward, and stay open to the senses.

Travel 

• If you are coming from New York or New Jersey and do not have access to a car, I cannot recommend the PATH train/A LINE more. The shuttle train comes next, followed by a short walk from the Beach 90th stop to the retreat house.

• the ferry is a great way to get to the Rockaways. Take the ferry from Wall Street or Brooklyn (sunset park) https://www.ferry.nyc/routes-and-schedules/rockaway/

• Carpooling options may be available upon request.

• For cancellation requests submitted more than 30 days before the retreat date, the total amount paid less the deposit will be refunded.

Self Love Retreat September 18th &19th

Join me Friday evening and Saturday morning & afternoon for this Self Love offering.

As some of you know I went through some major life changes in 2019 where I couldn’t hold it together anymore. My toxic job was killing me. I felt like I was dying. A good friend took me to a ceremony that was the catalyst for understanding myself and self love, which oddly I just couldn’t connect with before. Caring and loving others no problem, I was born to do that. But I was born to love myself too..Since that moment I have dedicated myself to myself. That which is a unique compassionate heart is mine and is for me. An endless supply. It can never be destroyed and is always there for me. I finally have my back. This retreat is based upon my own healing journey and the tools I learned along my journey. I will be offering tools and concepts and books that helped me though a storytelling format. Bring a notebook and wear comfy clothes. I will be offering two meals and a cacao ceremony. We will be writing, meditation, breathwork, listening to our hearts, garden time and eating of course.
