This grief circle is an invitation to express, connect, heal, feel seen and be held in community. We hold this circle with love and without judgement. Everyone has the right to exist exactly as they are. The intention is to connect to our hearts, have compassion and express what the heart is trying to say.
So some of you know me and know that the last 5 years have been transformative in so many ways.
I have learned a lot about letting go and grief. I lost two of my best friends within 2 years of each other. Anthony in 2022 and Helen in 2024. I also quit my job in 2020 so I would have the opportunity to let it all fall to the floor so I could consciously rebuild and choose how I wanted to move forward.
Grief can be about loosing a person, but it can also be a shedding or change in your life. It can be a loss of what you wished for that did not come true. Grief can just be the coming of the inevitable change which is happening all of the time. The teaching of grief is that in order to move through, we must feel our feelings, an invitation for self compassion and self love.
